🎃 Big news, Honolulu! This month’s CreativeMornings Honolulu welcomes award-winning author Megan Kamalei Kakimoto for a morning of storytelling and insight on the theme Soft. 💫

A Japanese and Kanaka ʻŌiwi writer from Honolulu, Megan is the author of the USA Today bestselling short story collection “Every Drop Is a Man’s Nightmare” and a recipient of the 2025 Elliot Cades Award for Literature for Emerging Artist. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Guardian, and Granta, and she currently teaches writing at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and Antioch University Los Angeles.
