The global theme is RISE! They are kicking off the new year by collaborating with RiseHI, a nonprofit organization launched in 2016 with a mission to empower the youth of Hawai’i. RiseHI is focused on broadening young minds about their potential and available opportunities, regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds. Founder Gabe Amey will be moderating a talk with Alexis Akiona, Founder & Designer of LexBreezy Hawai’i, and Keola Rapozo, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Fitted Hawai’i.
