To honor Hawaiian History Month, we invite you to join a special “Celebrating Inoa ʻĀina: Hawaiian Place Names” virtual talk story session featuring Manu Boyd on Saturday, September 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., LIVE on Zoom.
As a knowledgeable and highly regarded kumu hula and cultural consultant for Kamehameha Schools, Manu will share moʻolelo (stories), oli (chants), and mele (songs) about the rich history and geography of Kakaʻako, and the surrounding region and celebrate Queen Liliʻuokalani’s 183rd birthday.
