Hundreds of special limited edition vinyl, CD releases and promotional products made exclusively for Record Store Day will be available at Hungry Ear Records at SALT at Our Kaka‘ako starting at 8 a.m. The day, conceived in 2007, celebrates the unique culture of independently owned record stores and the special role they play in their communities. It brings together fans, artists, and thousands of independent record stores across the world. A number of records are pressed specifically for Record Store Day, with a unique list of releases for each country, and are only distributed to shops participating in the event.
