Hawaii artist, Leni Acosta Knight, in collaboration with fellow artists Ruben Aira Jr. and William Zwick, is pleased to present a group exhibition of new and existing art work at SALT at Our Kakaʻako. This event is dedicated to empower the victims of domestic and sexual abuse to have a “voice” and to help in the awareness and prevention of violence of any kind. The show will also feature works of clothing designer, Michelle Thompson of Gypsea Mafia, jewelry designer Jessie Hodge of Simply Anela Creations and contemporary artist Jasmine Mikaela Knight. Along with the visual artists, slam poets, Jenn Collotta and Anna Davide and various performing artists will perform live from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Portion of sale proceeds will be donated to University of Hawaii- West Oʻahu Compliance Hui to strengthen campus awareness and education about domestic and sexual violence.
